Build God, and Then We'll Talk is one of the most intricately woven songs by Panic! at the Disco. It brings to light a darker meaning of the word advancement. Have a listen and let me know what you think.

The song itself I would have never given a shot, had you not pointed out that the lyrics were worth listening to. What a fragile, cynical lament. Beautifully corrupt. I am not sure if this song was a plea or a decree, but either way, I have a bit more respect for the writing (if not the music) of a ‘modern pop band’.
Btw, the real video for this song was not what I expected, but complements the lyrics in a surprising way:
